Nicholas Richard Zimmer

Nicholas Richard Zimmer, age 60, DOB October 13th, 1961 passed away unexpectedly on July 28th, 2022 after a brief hospitalization. He leaves behind a daughter, Lindsay (John) Newton, four grandchildren; Chelsea, Claire, Charley, and Coen. He is also mourned by eight siblings; Kathleen (William) Bierlein, Christina (John) Forsyth, Dennis (Renee`) Zimmer, Anthony (Amanda) Zimmer, Timothy (Beth) Zimmer, Sandra (Doug) Barnum, Jenifer (Michael) Wilhelm, and Julie (Joe) Koehl, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Carol Zimmer. Nick was a graduate of Carroll High School. He was employed for years with Piedmont Airlines and US Airways in Dayton, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA where he still has many good friends. Nick was a history and aviation buff as well as enjoying family events, hockey, and the Minnesota Vikings and caring for his dogs. He also loved his best friend and furry companion, Milo, who he took everywhere. He will be lovingly missed.

A memorial visitation for Nicholas will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
