Naomi Baker

Naomi (Yeary) Baker, born June 21st, 1940, Breathett Co., KY, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9th, 2016 at Sycamore Hospital, Dayton, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Leroy Baker; mother, Edith (Bowling) Yeary; father, Aster Zack Yeary; three brothers, Larry, Lonnie and William Edward Yeary; one sister, Ann Dempsey and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Baker and infant baby girl Baker. She is survived by one daughter, Frances Carol Baker; one son, Kenneth James Baker; one grandson, Kenny Baker; one brother-in-law, John W. and Geraldine Baker; sister and brother-in-law, George and Berlis Hudson; two brothers, Charles E. Yeary and Wayne and Pamela Jo Yeary; brother-in-law, James Dempsey and numerous nieces and nephews. Naomi was an avid homemaker who loved decorating and was actively involved in the PTO at her children’s schools. She also enjoyed singing and music at her church. Funeral service will take place on Friday, Dec. 16th, 2016 at 12 pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
