LANE, Nancy C., of Centerville, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 3rd, 2013. Nancy was born on February 4, 1938 in Berea, Kentucky to the late Q.B. and Lois (Wilder) Starnes. Nancy was a retired high school teacher for Walter E. Stebbins High School. She received her B.S. degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree from Wright State University. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Samuel, mother, Lois Starnes, brother, Winford Starnes (Lura), nieces and nephews, Suzette Whitehead (Jeff), Stephanie Davis (Jamie), Scott Lane (Agnes), Todd Lane (Dee Anne), Virginia Depp (Phil), and Troy Lane. Nancy lived life to the fullest and enjoyed her many friends. Visitation will be held October 7th from 5-7:30pm followed by a Service of Remembrance at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Centerville, OH. Additional services will be held in Richmond, Kentucky at the OLDHAM ROBERTS and POWELL FUNERAL HOME ( visitation 1 to 2 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2013 with a service at 2pm).
