Michael James Walker

Michael was born October 18, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. A Kettering native, Michael graduated from Fairmont East High School in the Spring of 1974. He enjoyed many hobbies in his spare time such as shooting, gunsmithing, model-making, playing the guitar, studying Aikido, Kara-Ho, Kempo, and various Martial Arts. He also had a huge passion for history, aeronautics, automobiles, firearms, insects, and nature. He was an accomplished Machinist at Millat Industries and Lord Corporation.

Michael was blessed with a loving family, which he valued above nearly everything else. He was a fantastic Father, not only to his own children, but to many others throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, James Donald Walker and Joyce Irene Walker (Archer). He is survived by his Daughter and her husband, Reneé and Jason Bell, his Son and his wife, James and Barbara Walker, his Grandchildren, Allison, Aiden, Alijah, Ashton, Otto, Krystal, Bobbie Jo (husband Shane), and J.T., his Sisters, Linda Fannin, Donna Simpson, and Sherry Hamman, and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Tobias Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM Saturday. Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating.
