Michael Schutt

Michael Joseph Schutt, Sr, 63, of Beavercreek Ohio passed away at Soin Medical Center on Wednesday December 14, 2022 after a 4 year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Catherine Schutt, and his sister Rita Schutt. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Schutt, his three children Michael Schutt Jr (Debi Schutt), Matthew Schutt (Mandy Schutt), and Meaghan Johnson (Ben Johnson), siblings Edward Schutt, Richard Schutt, Ann Schutt, Vincent Schutt, Dorothy Greenhalgh and many loved nieces and nephews. His legacy also lives on in the adoration of his seven grandchildren, Alexandra, Michael, Christopher, Hunter, Emma, Declan, and Charlie. Michael was in retail management his whole life and ended his career working in pharmaceutical manufacturing at Alkermes. What we really want you to know about him is that he loved his family with unwavering loyalty and devotion. He was a steadfast presence in our lives always offering unconditional love and support no matter the circumstances. He was generous in spirit but also with his time. He enjoyed camping, playing cards, and frisbee golf. He volunteered with animal rescue organizations. Mike had a particular talent at taking naps under the loudest of conditions, was a staunch Bills fan (go Bills!), and the fiercest fighter against cancer. But most important of all is that he was the BEST husband, dad, and papa that has left a gaping hole behind in his absence. There will be a visitation with the family at Mount Saint John Queen of Apostles Chapel 4435 E Patterson Rd Beavercreek, OH 45430 on Monday December 19, 2022 at 9:30am immediately followed by mass at 11am. There will be a family luncheon after mass at Beavercreek Event Center 1585 Grange Hall Rd Beavercreek, OH 45432 until 4pm.
