Michael (Mike) Moloney, age 41, died October 16, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. Mike was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on May 2, 1975 to Thomas and Maureen (Foreman) Moloney. Mike spent his childhood in Centerville, Ohio and graduated from Chaminade Julienne High School in 1994. He attended St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and was employed as a Casualty Prevention Specialist at Wright State University. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Thomas and his paternal grandparents Bernard and Elizabeth Moloney, who resided in Marion, Ohio, and by his maternal grandparents John (Jack) and Irene Foreman who resided in Canton, Ohio, and later in Wheeling W.VA. Mike was an avid soccer fan and played from age 6 into his mid-thirties. He loved playing with the “Rogues” his soccer team of many years. He also enjoyed playing Sand Volleyball and Disc Golf with his many friends. Mike’s high spirits, good humor, hard work, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and his dog Ty.

Friends are invited to join the family at a Gathering to celebrate Mike’s life from 11:00 am to1:00 pm on Friday, October 28, at Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to proceed to Calvary Cemetery following the Gathering.
