BIRD, Maureen, was called home by the Lord on June 12, 2022. She was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on June 3, 1943, and spent the first twenty years of her life there. Her parents were Robert and Ruth McKelvie. She graduated from Goodrich Senior High School in 1960. After graduating she worked as a secretary for several years and later in life worked as a credit clerk. She married her high school sweetheart Ron and they had two children, William (Billy) and Susan. She enjoyed cooking and was always trying new recipes. She loved crafts and made hooked rugs and jewelry. She and her husband spent many happy hours traveling around the country looking for and collecting antiques. Maureen loved people and loved to talk to them. If you got a telephone call from her you knew you would be on the phone for at least a half hour. She had a great sense of humor and made people laugh. She was genuinely a very funny person. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Billy. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years Ronald, her daughter Susan and her husband Douglas and their children William and Kathrine, her sister Kathleen Kohlman and her husband Terry, and her brother James McKelvie and his wife Jennifer. Maureen was a kind and gentle person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
