Mary Martha Frye

age 86, of Dayton, passed away peacefully Sunday , August 11 at her home in Oakwood after a long illness. She was born August 9, 1927 in Des Moines, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy F. Hansen and Cora Belle Cox, sisters Betty Jane and Eleanor Jean and a brother Kenneth. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William A. Frye, son Russell S. Frye of Falls Church, VA and daughter Cynthia M. Eisen (Martin), and by their children, Natalie Frye and Jessica and Sarah Eisen. To her nieces and nephews and their children, she was a trusted advisor and a faithful supporter. Mary volunteered at Oakwood schools, was President of the Arthritis Foundation Board in Dayton and Vice President of the Regional Board in Cincinnati. She volunteered at the Lutheran Social Services One Around Shop. To her friends and neighbors, she was always ready to help with a sick child or spouse or with any other problem, day or night.
