Mary Elliott

Mary G Elliott, age 88 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Freedom, IN on Valentine’s Day, 1926 to Emma and Claude Johnson. She married Robert Elliott on July 25, 1943; he preceded her in death in October of 2013. She was also preceded by a daughter, Donita Elliott, both parents, 3 brothers, 6 sisters and a son-in-law, Gerald Duhon. Her children survive her: one son, Gary Elliott of TX and three daughters: Janet Duhon of Fairborn, Susan Elliott of TN and Nancy Elliott of AZ. Seven grandchildren also survive her: Robert, Jennifer, Christel, Melissa, Shannon, Cory and Connie, as do twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary had a great love of ballroom dancing and was a member of Swing and Sway Dance Club for many years. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia rd. at Grange Hall on Tuesday evening, March 11 from 5-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12 at11 AM; interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Mary’s memory.
