Marvin J. Blevins

Blevins, Marvin J., 93, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Olive (Adams) Blevins; his children, Daryl (Joyce) Blevins of Loudon, TN, Gayle Blevins of Coralville, Iowa, Richie (Chris) Blevins of Beavercreek, Sharon (Dave) Strehle of Beavercreek, and Tracy Elliott of Fairborn; brother Charles Blevins of Dayton; sister Thelma Gibbs of Richmond, KY; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Marvin was a veteran of WWII in the US Navy, retired from the Chrysler Corp. after 28 years of employment, was an active bowler until he turned 88 years of age and became the oldest person to achieve an 811 series. Besides bowling he enjoyed gardening. Family will receive friends from 11 AM- 1 PM Monday, December 11, 2017 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Glander officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens.
