Marilyn Jean Pitzer

Marilyn Jean Pitzer was born to Clarence and Marianne Baldwin on March 12, 1950 in St Louis, Missouri and was welcomed home and stepped gracefully into glory early in the morning on the Lord’s Day, Sunday August 11, 2024. She was a godly, faithful and self-sacrificing wife of 53 years, and is survived by her husband John, her 5 children, 17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, sisters-in-law, and a large extended family, including foster children, and had many friends that touch from one side of the USA to the other.

She loved the Lord Jesus here on earth, loves Him perfectly now, loved her church families through the years, loved her country and loved the great outdoors. Quite importantly also, she loved you (who read this) specifically and wanted God’s glorifying best for you. She would show that through music, Biblical ministries, flowers, herbology, gardening and animals, sewing, hospitality, and had a passion to help those with special needs. She would do all this and more until the day she had no more strength or ability to continue… as recent as June of this year.

Mom would want you to “rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15). Most importantly though, she would want you to know Jesus, her Great Peacemaker, Who loved her and gave Himself for her and with whom she is in the very presence of right now.

The Memorial Services will be held at John and Marilyn’s home church of Grace Community Presbyterian Church, in Weed, CA on Saturday September 7, 2024 at 11am. The service will be live streamed through the church’s website listed below. Fellowship and refreshments to immediately follow at the same venue.
