HUBER (Griffin), Marilyn Jean Age 82, of Miami Township, passed away quietly Thursday, Jan. 15, at Hospice of Dayton. Born July 3, 1932, in Delaware, Ohio, Marilyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alfred; daughter Pamela Huber of Dayton; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Thomas Bradley of Cincinnati; daughter and son-in-law Don and Nancy Polk of Bluffton, S.C.; son Robert Huber of Dayton; sister and brother-in-law, James and Roberta Wyant of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren Jacob, Benjamin and Rebecca Bradley, Callie and Hannah Polk, and Brian Alex Brennaman; and cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. A 1954 graduate of the University of Dayton, she retired as a teacher from Dayton Public Schools in 1992 after many years of teaching elementary school. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, bridge and gardening among other activities. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Griffin, and her brother, Dennis Griffin, all of Delaware, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Road.
