PARKER, Marie, age 95, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on September 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born October 4, 1919 and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She attended the First Pentecostal Church of Xenia for over 30 years and then Spaulding Road Church of God for many years. She loved her Lord and was a good and faithful servant, she will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents Dave and Mary Lewis, husband Henry, son Jerry, daughter-in-law Pat, grandson Tony, great grandsons Ryan and Shawn, brothers Arncie, Offord, Virgil and Damon, and sisters Maude and Nettie Lee. She is survived by her sons Jim (Peggy), Doc, Tommy (Alfreda), daughters Barbara Norman and Carolyn Mobley, 12 grandkids, 23 great-grandkids, 11 great-great-grandkids, sisters Wilma Parker, Helen Hudson, and a host of nieces, nephews and close neighbors. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Dayton and Liberty Nursing Center of Beavercreek for all their care. The family would also like to give very special thanks to Carolyn Mobley for the special care she took of her mother for 11 years. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOM E- BEAVERCREEK CAHPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia RD at Grange Hall RD with Pastor Mark Brooks officiating and Pastor Larry Thomas will say a few words about Marie. Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
