Margaret F. "Marge" Palmer

PALMER, Margaret F. “Marge”, age 101 of Bethany Lutheran Village, formerly of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital. Marge was born on December 31, 1912 in Westboro, Ohio to the late Ferd and Lillie Meyer Flor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee F. Palmer; her son, Gary L. Palmer; a brother, Ralph Flor; and a sister, Goldia Andrews. She is survived by her son, David B. (Kimberli) Palmer; grandchildren, Tony (Jennifer) Palmer, Margaret (Christopher) Cooke, and Kalie Jenkins; nieces, Barbara (Jim) Pierson, Peggy Rohrer, Linda (Charlie) Merrick, Jana (Kenny) Wells and Jackie Palmer; and a nephew, John (Sue) Flor. Marge was a founding member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she started the Woman’s Circle. She Volunteered at Bethany for many years and was an avid card player there and at Hithergreen Senior Center, also a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds.. Everyone who was blessed to know Marge knew of her love of chocolate. Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E.
