I found out yesterday that Margaret passed away.  I've known Kendall for years and send my condolences to him and his entire family.  I hope you all find comfort in the many memories you've shared with your mom, aunt and grandmother.

I was a nurse at the Suites at Walnut Creek and had the pleasure of spending time enjoying Margaret's wonderful stories. She was a great woman and will be missed by many!

I'll miss my Aunt Margaret so much, who along with her brothers and sisters have always been such a strong presence in my life. I'll especially miss her many sayings and her ready smile and laughter and obvious love for me. My thoughts go out to her children, my cousins, and their families and I wish them peace and serenity.

I will miss Aunt Margaret very much and will always remember the compassion, comfort and kindness that she showed me.Every  Christmas I hang up 2 handmade, personalized stockings that Aunt Margaret sent for my girls, Kristi and Katie. I also have a  book titled "Quiet ThingsTo Do" made by Aunt Margaret for Katiie after she was born some 26 years ago. I now read that book to my grandson and delight in watching him learn to button a shirt, tie a shoe and pick apples from a tree, all on the interactive pages of this book. I have a framed print made of beautiful dried flowers that hangs in my hallway made by her and given to me as a birthday gift. She was my mom's big sister,my Aunt and will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. I will always carry a part of her with me. For my cousins, Ceci, Kendall and Ivan and their children, I hope you find comfort and peace in the days ahead.

On behalf of the entire Roush family, I send our dear thoughts and prayers at the death of your dear mother, Margaret.  Our families have been friends since early 1950 when we moved to Greenmont. Ceci, you and Sally were close little friends at the school and church. My dad always had such wonderful compliments about your mother as a teacher in the Kettering Schools.  Sally and Chet have passed on also but  past times have entwined our families with treasured memories of times go by, yet also strengthen us in the resolve to continue the legacy of those gone on, to be close with families, be the best person we can, and hope for every tomorrow.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My sister Mary and I loved to see Margaret with her brothers and sisters around for our family reunions. We always felt loved by her and we loved her right back, even though years would pass between our gatherings and we lived far away. Fro someone I rarely was able to see, she made a great positive impact in my life.

Our thoughts are with Ceci, Kendall and Ivan and their families.  I will miss my dear Aunt Margaret, who always brightened our lives with her many witticisms and loving acts for us kids.  May her memory continue to bring joy to all of you and to us.

My name is Richard and I am a part-time hairdresser at Walnut Creek. It was my pleasure to get to know this special lady at the Walnut Creek Beauty Salon. My co-worker, Mary, and I always enjoyed her personality and quick wit. She will be missed by Mary and Richard, that's for sure!
