Mable Washington

WASHINGTON, Mable S., age 81 of Lompoc, CA, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvan Washington Jr.; parents, Marion and Rosa Wilson; sister, Dorothy Wilson and brother, Marion Wilson. Mable was a long time teacher for the DoD School System and for La Purisima Catholic School. She was an active member of La Purisima Catholic Parish and The Catholic Daughters. She was a member of and served as President of the Lompoc Lioness Club. She is survived by her sons, Anthony T. (Theresa) Washington, Michael J. (Davida) Washington, Arvan Washington III; daughters, Joyce D. Washington, Phyllis E. Washington; grandchildren, Lucas A. Washington, Julius DeBerry Jr., Michael S. Washington, Jurald M. Campbell, Jason C. Washington, Mable C. Washington; sisters, Margaret Gilmore, Rochelle Wilson, brother, Steven Wilson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
