Lynn B. Hinkle

Lynn Hinkle, age 79, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. She was born in Dayton on November 10, 1942 to the late Norman Butler and Anne (Walker) Soenke. She was a passionate gardener, and redesigned the gardens at every house she lived in. She loved cooking, antiques, and especially her cats. She was an artist in her younger years, but became an avid needle pointer later in life. She created original Christmas stockings for both her grandchildren, and many pillows and framed pieces, that will be treasured for years to come.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, L. Keith Hinkle of Dover, Delaware in 2020. Although only married a short time, their love spanned 50+ years. She is survived by her children, Kristin (Bransford) Doore and John Bransford, and her two grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Emmalei Doore and Sean Doore, and cousins Jeff Ott and Sheri (Ott) Klare and Bill Klare.

Friends and family may visit from 1 pm until time of service at 2 pm, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429. Her final resting place will be at David’s Cemetery, Kettering, Ohio.
