Luther B. Grabeman

GRABEMAN, Luther B., age 85 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. Lou was born on Jun 18, 1930 in Dayton to the late Theodore Frank William and Emma Caroline (Meyer) Grabeman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lois; brothers, Ted (Dorothy) Grabeman, Jr. and Fred Grabeman; and brother-in-law, William Schmidt. He is survived by his children, Robert, Diana, and John Grabeman; sisters-in-law, Marlene Grabeman and Joann Schmidt all of Dayton; and numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Lou was a graduate of Stivers High School, worked at N.C.R. for 25 years, and retired from Epiphany Lutheran Church after 31 years of service where he was also a member. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday March 21, 2016, with the service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Charlie Woodward officiating.
