Leslie Ann Stricker

Stricker, Leslie Ann age 62 of Washington Township passed away Tuesday August 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father Lester Prether and sister Amy Prether and is survived by her beloved husband of 40 yrs. Jeffrey Merrill Stricker; her mother Carlene Prether; her children Joshua Lysle (Kelly) of Beavercreek, Matthew Jacob of Miamisburg, Rebecca Lucille of Mason, Ohio; sisters–in-law and brothers-in-law Mary (Herman) Roden, Daniel (Terri) Stricker, Gretchen (Ed) Laake, Steve (Janie) Stricker and Chris (Jenn) Stricker. She was a Professor of History and Humanities at Sinclair Community College. She was a most loving mother, actively involved in scouting, sports, and band activities. She was treasurer for the Centerville Jazz Band 9 years. An active member at the Church of the Incarnation, she was involved in Respect Life, meals for St. Vincent DePaul, sewing baptism clothes, and a Facilitator of Grief Share. She participated in Shawl Ministry for many years, as well. She enjoyed cross stitching and loved to travel the world with her husband and was her son Matt’s Sous Chef during many large family holiday gatherings. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Thursday August 10th at the Church of the Incarnation with burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
