Kimberly Ann Milner

Kimberly Ann Milner, age 58, of Dayton, OH passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, August 29, 2020. She was born in Detroit, MI on July 4, 1962, the daughter of S. Richard and Joan L. (Marple) Carson, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Carson. Kimberly was the loving wife of Michael R. Milner, for 38 years; the loving mother of Christopher (Sarah) Milner, of Indianapolis, IN, Ryan Milner (Megan Lesnoski), of Beavercreek, Philip Milner, of Dayton, Lauren (SSG Justin) Postlewait, stationed at Edgewater Park, NJ; the devoted sister, of Mark (Kathy) Carson, of Sterling Heights, MI, Mary Kay (David) Sonntag, of Royal Oak, MI, Kelly Carson, of Madison Heights, MI; the beloved grandmother of Kaylin, Rylee, Addison, Marleigh, Madilynn, Harrison, Eleanor Joan, Holden and one on the way. She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews. Kimberly was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Riverside, OH and was a graduate of the class of ’80 at Shrine Catholic High School in Royal Oak, MI. She was employed as a School Age Program Teacher at The Wright Patterson Child Care Center. Kim lit up every room she entered, arms laden with thoughtful gifts for everyone. She knew her way around the kitchen, preparing everyone’s favorite meals with a smile on her face. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road in Riverside, OH with Father Satish Joseph as the celebrant. A public graveside committal service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, OH on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 12:30 p.m. If desired, contribututions in memory of Kimberly may be made to either Diabetes Dayton or Dayton Children's Hospital.
