Marshall, Kevin D., Sr. age 48 of Dayton passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital due to a stroke. He was born in Dayton on Nov. 18, 1962. He is survived by his parents Wesley Wayne and Regina Marshall; wife Sharon; son Kevin D. Marshall II; daughters Nequa and Neisha; brother J.R; mother-in-law Clemie B. Pickens; three brothers in- law and three sisters- in -law along with numerous nieces and nephews. Kevin was a graduate of Colonel White High School, class of 1981. He was a former member of the Ohio Naval Militia and while on one mission saved a woman’s life on Lake Erie. He enjoyed comedy and was always telling jokes to family and friends and was an avid coin collector. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Dayton. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, July 1, 2011 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL; 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd and Grange Hall. President David Scott 2nd Counselor Dayton Ohio Stake; Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will preside over services. Friends may call to the funeral home from 12pm until the time of services on Friday. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
