Keith Edward Shaffer was born on November 10, 1946 to Robert E. and Mildred M. (Leeds) Shaffer. He was a graduate of West Carrollton High School in 1965 and served in the United States Army from 1968 - 1970. On February 20, 1971, Keith married Ryka Bayless. Together they had two children, Nicole and Lance. They enjoyed 50 years of adventures together through softball, racquetball, motorcycling, camping, golfing and travel.
Keith was a long time employee of over 40 years at Dayton Progress in their engineering department. He was a member of the American Legion. He had a side business: K & R Stringing where he strung most of the racquetball racquets and some tennis racquets in the state of Ohio for many years.
Surviving Keith are his wife, Ryka of Centerville, daughter, Nicole R. Williams of Dayton, son Lance ( Stacy ) of St Joseph, Michigan, grandchildren, Jonathan (Briana) Williams, Shane Williams, Aisley and Corinne Shaffer and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Emma and Gage Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Shaffer, sister, Norma May Shaffer, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Constance and George Bayless.
