Hogue, Keith L., age 70 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his loving in-laws Charlie and Phyllis Murray. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly. His parents, Geneva and Louis Hogue also survive him, as do his children: Lori (John) Cox, Leslie Hogue and Brian (Suzie) Hogue, all of Beavercreek. He is survived by five grandchildren; Sarah (Matt), Michael, Brandon, Kelsey and Charlie and one great-grandson, Tyler, as well as a great-grandchild who will be arriving soon. Three aunts, Phyl, Joyce and Pauline also survive him, as does a sister-in-law, Charlene, and many cousins and friends. He was a lifelong resident of Beavercreek and graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1960. He worked for many years in the paper industry and as a handyman following his retirement. Keith was a loyal blood donor for years and had donated 14 gallons of blood to The Community Blood Center. He was a member of the Eagles #321, and the Moose. He will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He loved family fishing vacations in Canada and rooting for the Bengals and Michigan football teams. Keith’s family would like to thank Dr. Kathula, Lisa, and the rest of the staff at the Cancer Center as well as the wonderful staff of Hospice for the care and kindness they showed him. A memorial visitation will be held at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420 in Keith’s memory.
