Dear John & Family,

Kay and I worked together here at the Center for Healhty Communities. My first day here at the center was Kay's first day back in the office from her first battle with breast cancer. She rode to campus with me on a hot July day and she warned me as she removed her wig. We both looked at each other and begin to laugh. Kay's wonderful sense of humor, task driven,not afraid to explore attitude will be missed greatly. Over the years she has taught me to be courageous! God has called his Angel home her work is finished here on earth.  May God bless the family!

I can vaguely recall days when she was not feeling her best, but it never changed her temperament, she was so encouraging. Kay was a wonderful women. I met Kay in the late eighties. I was fresh out of college and began working with her on the Allen County Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force. We worked together on this project until she left the community. She was a great mentor, role model and friend. She always demonstrated the perfect balance of professionalism and passion. She has always been the woman I wanted to be when I grew up...

My name is Cathy Follett; I met Kay when she resided in Lima and worked for the Health Department. Kay was an inspiration for me. We worked together on behalf of Teen Pregnancy Prevention. I send my prayers and condolenses to the family.

Kay was a lovely woman and I am happy to have known he even briefly as one of my Noble Circle sisters.  There was always a smile on her face, and it was hard to know what all she was going through without asking. My condolences to her family and all those who loved her. She will be missed.

Dear John and family,
My name is Debbie Mann and I met Kay at Lincoln Park the day I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I believe she was my Guardian Angel sent to help me through a difficult time. We talked and walked for over an hour. We lost touch for awhile until she became a Sister of Noble Circle.She will forever be in my heart and always my Sister. I am so sorry about your loss.
