Kathleen Elizabeth Garrison

GARRISON, Kathleen Elizabeth (Manley), 75, of Beavercreek, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. She was born October 18, 1944 and raised in Howard Beach, New York by Frank and Vivian Manley. On July 17, 1971 she married her husband, Raymond Garrison.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Mary (Danny) Schurig, grandson Casey Schurig of Riverside, her beloved cats Whiskers and Mittens and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Vivian Manley, her husband of 36 years, Raymond Garrison, her 4 brothers Raymond Manley, Frank Manley Jr., Harold Manley, Donald Manley and her 4 sisters Roberta Smith, Phyllis Feinbert, Evelyn Boula, Harriet Boyer.

Kathleen was a teacher for many years starting her career at Redeemer Lutheran School of New York and finishing her teaching career at Merrie Time Christian. She then changed careers and worked at National City Mortgage until she retired in 2007. Kathleen was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, and quilting.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Peace Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Beavercreek Township (Beaver) Cemetery. Condolences can be expressed to the family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
