Karen Marie Wysong

WYSONG, KAREN M. age 69, passed away on Monday September 4, 2023, with her sons and family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years Scott E, parents Robert L and Lucille A Conner, brother Duane, twin brother Kevin and sister Maryann Lanese.

Karen is survived by her sons Jason (Tina) Ragland and Brian (Lori) Ragland, her grandchildren Marina, Reilly, Kayla and Conner, her great-granddaughter Autumn, sister Sharon (Kevin) Whalen, brother John (Ginny) Conner and many nephews and nieces.

Karen always enjoyed a good laugh. She liked wholesome TV shows and movies, many times watching reruns of her favorites, including The Golden Girls, Little House on the Prairie and Reba. She also enjoyed music but really liked all things Dolly. Karen had a love for dogs, especially her most recent companion Libby who was always by her side and passed earlier this year too. She enjoyed watching and feeding birds and growing flowers in her garden including a number of house plants and succulents.

Karen had many visits to The Secret Garden and meals out with her good friend Betty, with whom she was, seemingly, often on the go. The family would like to express gratitude to all her friends and co-workers who stayed in touch with Karen over the years.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Saturday October 7, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, Ohio. A Graveside Inurnment Service will follow at 1:45pm at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
