Julia Viola Jeffries

JEFFRIES, Julia V., 87 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James Jeffries Sr., daughter Judy Spears, son Robert Jeffries, granddaughter Bonnie Jeffries grandson, Cole Minton, and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Isaiah Williams. She leaves behind her son Harold and (Charlene) Jeffries, daughter Sue Dixon, son James Jeffries, and daughter in-law Rose Jeffries. She also leaves behind her sister Norma Nicholas who affectionately called her “Babe”. Julia was grandma to 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Julia attended the Wings Christian Fellowship of Bellbrook, OH. She was a former member of Englewood Christian Assembly of God where she was affectionately known as “The Card Lady” for her thoughtfulness in remembering each member with a card on special occasions. Julia will be forever missed by all whose hearts she touched. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver Ave. with interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery.
