Johnathon "John" Lloyd Martin

MARTIN, Johnathan Lloyd "John", 38, of Kettering, Ohio passed away at home of natural causes on March 16, 2022. John was the son of Stanley Martin & Beverly (Wimsatt) Martin. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Martin; son, Parker James; siblings, Stacy Martin, Christina Martin Smith (Michael), Jesse (Kara), and Jacob (Lea); nieces and nephews, Ranen, Clara, Elliott, Miles, Oliver, and Chloe. He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Martin; grandparents, James E. and Beverly Wimsatt, Novella Wolfe, and William Edd Martin; aunts, Valerie and Michelle Martin.

To John, being a father to Parker was the best gift in the world. He could often be found with a guitar in his hand ready to jam and offer any and all to join. His larger than life personality and laugh would fill the room, while his heart and love for friends and family warmed it. John never met a stranger, loved fishing, animals ( Lola and Charley), and spending time with his family and friends, especially if it involved a water balloon fight. He had a heart of gold and was the kindest and most giving person. If you had a need, he would do anything to help you. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

A visitation for John will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45429. A visitation will occur Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45429. A celebration of john's life will occur Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45429.

John will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
