MASSAR, John S. age 91 of Beavercreek, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Pauline Massar; parents, Ivan and Luna Massar; brother, Gene Massar; sister, Martha Kelly; and great-grandson, Liam Dunn Garcia. John is survived by his children, Nancy (Richard) Neff, Bruce (Karen) Massar, Chuck (Debbie) Massar and Susan (Jim) Ford; brothers, Ivan Jr. (Beverly) Massar and Kenny (Lois) Massar; grandchildren, Keith (Margaret), Melinda (Chris), Alissa (Phil), Shelia (Ubdiel), Shari (Jonathan), Amy (Josh), James, Dustin (Krystal) and Kacie; great-grandchildren, Kailey, Emily, Jackson, Kate, Alexa, Oakley, Carter and Eliott, and many other family and friends. John was a member of Linden Avenue Baptist Church for many years and later attended Kettering First Church of God. He was with the Civil Conservation Corps as a youth. He attended college and served in the United States Air Force. John was then a civil servant and retired from WPAFB. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall. Pastor Jerry Clark officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
