John William Jung

JUNG, John William, Age 70, passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Friday, February 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Fritz, and daughter Michelle. He is survived by his wife Susan, children Melissa (John) Stidham, John (Erin) Collins, Julie (James) Miller, and Billy (Tonya) Jung, 14 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, sister Eleanor (Ray) Lee, brothers Fred (Pat) Jung, Jim (Pam) Jung. He retired from the University of Dayton as a locksmith after 29 years. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed nature and the outdoors. John loved to work in his garden and could fix anything that was broken. He helped anyone in need and was a wonderful friend who was loved by many. Family will receive guests at Tobias-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd on Friday, February 27, 2015, 4pm - 7pm. Funeral service 10 am Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow shortly after at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Hospice of Dayton.
