Fenwick, John R., age 79 of Centerville, OH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 14, 2014. John was a registered pharmacist and worked for over 36 years in retail pharmacy spending his final working years with Rite Aid. He received a BS in Chemistry from Wilmington College and a second BS in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University. John enjoyed being outdoors, reading about the Civil War, and spending time with his family and church friends. He was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church Men’s Study Group and was active in many other groups within the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mary Fenwick. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Trudy Fenwick; son, Gregory Fenwick and girlfriend Tracy Nelson of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Jane Allemang of Wilmington, OH; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Margot and Fred Borst of Springboro, OH; nephews, Kirk (Leigh Ann) Allemang of Mowrystown, OH, Scott (Michelle) Allemang of Wilmington, OH, Michael (Ashley) Borst of Fairhope, AL, and Douglas Borst of Clearwater, FL; nieces, Jill Allemang of Zurich, Switzerland and Amy (Tom) Garringer of Springboro, OH; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 E. Franklin St. Centerville, OH 45459. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery.
