Joanne Kelly Achbach

ACHBACH, Joanne Kelly, age 89 of Dayton passed away Friday, May 8th, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. Joanne was born on January 19th, 1931 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Leo and Edith Taylor Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Achbach. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Allen E. Achbach; daughter, Anne (Jeff) Lopez; 8 grandchildren, Theresa (Tyler) Weihing, Maria, Christina and David Lopez; and Dylan, Lillian, Kelly, and Joseph Achbach; sisters, Patricia Lubbers and Mary O’Boyle; and brother, Leo (Patty) Kelly.

Joanne, a retired pediatric nurse, was a devoted and loving wife and mother, cherished a multitude of family and friends, travel and family gatherings, and loved serving as a supportive and caring angel in so many lives. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14th, 2020 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429.
