Joanna Benita Woods

Woods, Joanna B. (Cunningham), age 82, of Riverside, OH, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Floyd O. Woods, Sr. in 1973, her parents, Gordon W. and Mary Frances (Nagle) Cunningham, 2 sisters, Louise (Harry) Owens, Marcie Cunningham, 2 brothers, Bernard and Gene Cunningham, 1 nephew, Mike Bouton and 1 niece, Susan Owens. Joanna is survived by her son, Floyd O. Woods, Jr.; 3 daughters, Kathleen A. Woods, Rebecca J. Woods, Diane M. Woods (C. Terry May); honorary daughter, Millie Weirts (Jim); 1 sister, Fran Stineman; 2 brothers, Hal Cunningham (Peggy), Gordon W. Cunningham, Jr. (Alicia); 2 sisters-in-law, Alta and Jane Cunningham; 2 grandsons, Keith A. Woods (Mechel), Ryan D. Woods (Lauren Zuniga); 5 great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Samuel, Elisabeth, Bethany and Ryleigh Woods. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank the staff of VITAS Hospice for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in Joanna’s name to Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, 901 E. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Riverside, OH with Father Satish Joseph as the celebrant.
