Joan Clair Fussnecker

with God on Thursday, January 26, 2023, after a brief illness.

Joan was born on September 25, 1937,in Athens, Ohio, the daughter of

the late Wallace and Ella (Whitford) Allen of Springfield Ohio.

May 24, 1958, she married Louis Anthony (Tony)Fussnecker and they

were married just shy of 65 years.

She leaves behind a daughter, Mona Mulcahy (Dan) from Springboro,

Ohio. Two sons, Mark Fussnecker and Drew Fussnecker (Katie), both

from Dayton Ohio. 7 grandchildren and, 6 great-grandchildren and

many special friends.

Joan had many interests. She loved knitting and was known for making

beautiful scarves for friends and family. She enjoyed entertaining, and

she and Tony loved to dance. She was a great tennis player, where she

traveled around the country playing in tournaments and was an avid

golfer at Sycamore Creek Country Club and Moraine Country Club. She

even had a hole in one.

One of her favorite places to go with the family, was Hilton Head Island,

South Carolina, where she went every year for 50 years.

She loved watching golf and the Bengals.

There will be a gathering of friends and family at Church of the Incarnation, 7515 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH 45459, from 10 am Tuesday, February 7, 2023 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
