YAHLE, Jeanne Margaret, age 83 of Riverside, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 5, 1934 to Thomas and Thelma (Keller) Hopkins in Dayton, OH; both parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Yahle. She is also survived by four daughters: Julie (Carl) Caughey, Christine Steineman, Kathy (Jack) Johnson, and Connie (Jim) Grounds. Six grandchildren survive her: Rachel, Stephanie (Clyde), Stacy (Gary), Michelle, Kelsey (Mike) and JT (Kelsey), as do five great-grandchildren: Megan, Madilyn, Kayla, Natalie and Emily. She is also survived by her twin sister, Jeanette Dillhoff, and a brother, Thomas (Susan) Hopkins, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeanne and Charles are sixty year members of St. Helen Parish. She loved reading, collecting recipes, and was an avid fisherman. She was a faithful team mom for her daughters’ sports teams and a reliable sitter for her grand-dogs. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd. Riverside, OH 45431 on Thursday, January 18 at 10 AM by Fr. Anthony Geraci. Friends may call at the church from 9AM until the time of the Mass on Thursday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420 in Jeanne’s memory.
