Jason Robert Tharp, 51 years old of Centerville, passed away at The Atrium Medical Center on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Born on April 1, 1971 at Kettering Hospital, he was a graduate of Centerville High School, Class of 1989. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Tharp, fraternal grandparents, Gladys M. and Harlan B. Tharp, and maternal grandparents, Alice I. and August F. Balzer. He is survived by his son, Cooper D. Tharp and former spouse, Dawn Tharp, his mother, Dianne C. Tharp, sister, Patricia L. Clifton (Cameron), sister, Angela M. Tharp, many family and friends, including his beloved pets Knudle, Loki, Dannie, and Sammy. His greatest love was for his son Cooper and his last desire was to get himself well enough to be able to do things with Cooper. He was passionate about playing guitar, Raiders Football, Avalanche Hockey, and Reds Baseball. He had very fond memories of living in California for almost 8 years, where he made longtime friends that he kept in touch with daily. He also had the biggest heart for all kinds of critters and would do what he could to help them.
