Our dearly loved Jasmine Renee Fodal was born in Dayton, Ohio, on Sunday, March 14, 1999. Incredible from the start, she was born with a halo, though granted she was not perfect. Jasmine’s never, ever not been a career-minded angel: genuinely kind, authentically bold, happy-go-lucky, naturally a beautiful girl who was peacefully natured, grateful for all life had offered her.
Jasmine was unusually artistic, and had talent beyond measure. In recent years, she had taught herself to play the piano and guitar fluently; she had written, sung and recorded her own music. Jasmine will always be remembered for her relentless courage during difficult and painful times. However, this time the pain was too great: Jasmine Renee Fodal’s life was taken too soon by her own hand.
Jasmine’s love touched so many of us in so many kind ways, while never taking anyone for granted during her brief stay among us. Jasmine earned her angel wings on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Because of her hospitalization in March 2020, we were unable to celebrate Jasmine’s 21st birthday with her. We shall celebrate Jasmine’s life, her 21st birthday and what would have been her 22nd birthday this coming spring, 2021. Direct invitations will be sent out in advance for this event.
I’m Free Don’t grieve for me for now I am free, I am following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call: I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found my place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void; Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too shall miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow: I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life has been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my life seemed all too brief: Do not lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He has set me free.
Family came first to Jasmine. Jasmine spent the majority of her time here on our Mother Earth with her three little sisters, preparing them for the real world. Jasmine was an amazing role model to, and survived by, her sisters Jayla, Emery, Ella Fodal; mother, Danielle Fodal; Mary Fodal, Joe Fodal, Helene Gordon, Jason Fodal, Shawn Blake, and Ricardo Walker; Father Darryll Bedinger; her brothers and sisters, Antonio, Kris, Keisan, Keenan, Katerra, and Aassahn. Aunt Saundra Bedinger, Aunt Darlene (Steve) Parker - Bedinger, Uncle Andre Bedinger, Cousins Brian (Torika), Stephanie (Gabe), Brandon (Hannah), Marcus (Maxtin), Shardae (Alirezza); and 11 other 2nd/3rd cousins, Hunter Dunn, Lois Foy, Andrea Foy and Terrance Foy, an numerous other family and friends.

As I know we each have waited patiently over the past 199 days until today. Whereas I must bring to you each that I am remaining mindful about celebrating Jasmines life party. As we initially did intend for it to be on or
near Jasmines 22nd birthday; I am closely watching COVID19 numbers. I believe Jasmine would not want for any of us to risk our lives to celebrate her life.
Until we each can obtain an inoculation &/or vaccination for COVID19 which may be summer 2021 or fall 2021 we shall postpone until further notice. I shall update this site and I will personally email and mail you each out an invitation to Jasmines life celebration when I feel it is safe for us to gather.
Jasmine will be buried in the Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs, Ohio on the new side over this next month. I shall send out emails at prior to that time. As I have purchased Jasmine a plot there. Please make sure I have an updated email for each of you. I want to thank each of you in advance for your cooperation and kindness throughout the past 200 days and as we look forward to the future.
