James Thomas ‘Tom’ Robinson, age 52, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home in Beavercreek Ohio. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Jim, and mother, Mary Ruth. Tom is survived by family members, Kelley Robinson, son Tyler Robinson and sister, Tresa Valentine. Tom is buried at Union Cemetery in Newport, Tennessee. Tom was born in Newport, Tennessee on January 18, 1962. Tom attended Newport Grammar School before going to The McCallie School which is private all boys school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Tom continued his education to the University of Tennessee but then decided to join the Air Force, serving 20 years for our country. While in the Air Force Tom was stationed in Germany, South Korea, and Wright-Patt. He spent the final 36 years of his life in Beavercreeek with his family. Tom’s passions were music, Tennessee, and his loved ones which he will always hold onto even in his after life. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Tom to Tyler Robinson for his education at Ohio University.
