GAMBILL, James M. “Jim” age 57, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Hospice of Dayton. Jim was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio to the late Delmar and Evelyn (Heinrich)Gambill. Jim was an electrical lab technician with over 40 years of experience; starting with M&R Electric and most recently with Regal Beloit. He was an avid tennis player, a great Cleveland Browns fan, and loved yoga and traveling. Jim was loved by everyone whose life he touched. He was preceded in death by his step-son Thomas Mifflin, brother-in-law Dick Hoefer, and step-mother Dorothy Gambill. Jim is survived by his wife MaryAnn of Dayton, children; John (Brandy)Gambill of Cincinnati, and Bill(Allie)Gambill of Dayton, and David(Matt Bebee)Mifflin of Seattle, WA., grandson Logan, siblings; Linda Hoefer of Sarasota, FL., Bob(Paula)Gambill of Centerville, OH., Nancy Helling of Dayton, OH., and Elaine Gambill Sarasota, FL., a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Family to receive friends 5:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, June 7, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel; where funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, with Rev. Mark Putman officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
