Ivan Eugene Moore

MOORE, Ivan Eugene 91 of Kettering, passed away peacefully Friday, July 31, 2015. Ivan leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 69 years Louise (nee Stanley) Moore, two sons and one daughter-in-law Keith and Marla Moore, Kevin Moore. Also surviving are four grandchildren Melissa Moore, Kristopher Moore, Brandon Moore, Kyle Moore and four great-grandchildren Kaleb, Kristian, Madison, Markus, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Ivan was preceded in death by his parents Charles Edward and Ruthetta (nee Watts) Moore, one son Danny Moore in 1993, two brothers Calvin and Eddie, one sister Garnette Moore Cox and his favorite pet Pepper. He was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran serving in WW II in the South Pacific Theatre, member of Masonic Lodge F & AM 729. He had worked at Master Electric for 24 years before going to GM where he retired in 1987. Graveside committal services for Ivan will be 12:00 noon Thursday, August 6, 2015 at MT. ZION SHOUP CEMETERY, 27 North Fairfield Road, Beavercreek. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for their excellent care of Ivan.
