Howard Wallace Farmer

FARMER, Howard Wallace, age 71 of Riverside, passed away December 28, 2011. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother. He is survived by his wife, Amy; son, Howard Wayne (Tamara Sue) Farmer of Riverside; daughters, Teresa Ann (Harris) Alexander of West Carrollton and Angela (Drew Horr) Andrews of Dayton; sisters, Dora Jones of Garrard, KY, Francis Travis of Urbana and Thelma Trevino of Defiance; brother, Douglas Farmer of Urbana; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Farmer was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from R.T.A. after 22 years of service. He was a member of Spaulding Road Church of God where he taught Sunday School for more than 36 years. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Rd. Dayton, 45432 with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012 until the time of service at the church. Interment in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. Mr. Farmer’s family expresses a special thanks to Mike Posey, Debbie Allen and all of their many family and friends for all of their generosity, love and support.
