Helen Irene Malone

Irene Malone, age 80, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 9th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth (Barr) Haberman and husband, Thomas Malone. She is survived by her brother, Eugene (Janet) Haberman of Ashland, Ohio; nephews, Eugene (Faye) Haberman Jr. of Toledo, Ohio and William (Debra) Haberman of Celebration, Florida; grand-nieces, Lauren and Amanda Haberman and grand-nephews, Tyler and Nathan Haberman. She retired from The Montgomery County Engineer's Office after a long and successful career. Her last position there was as supervisor of The Maps Department. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, June 17th, 2018 at 2pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Avenue., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Visitation will be from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday. Interment will take place at 10am on Monday, June 18th, 2018 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45414. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to The Dayton Foundation, 46 North Main Street, Suite 500, Dayton, Ohio 45423 – “Tom & Irene Malone Scholarship Fund”.
