Harold E. Roberts, age 88 of Dayton, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Miami Valley North Hospital. He is survived by four children: Anita Roberts, Tracy Roberts, Krista Wilder, and Andrea Hale. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ida Jeanette Maxwell, second wife Norma Roberts, as well as six sisters: Betty Jean, Garnet Vivian, Leola Margaret, Verlie Marie, Florence, and Etha Pearl; two brothers: Wilbur Preston and Gerald, and a son-in-law, Doug Wilder. Harold was a US Army Veteran, serving from 1954-56. He was also member of Ashcraft First Church of God; he loved to fish and was a collector of coins and model cars. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Dayton, OH from 12 PM until 1 PM with the funeral service following at 1 PM, Pastor David Turner officiating. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery will follow at 2 PM on Thursday.
