Powell, our son-in-law, recently told of the many facets of him that are not always available to the casual observer.  It appears he brought much happiness and joy to multiple people throughout his personal and business life.  We remember him most vividly from the younger baseball days of his grandchildren - always at the games proudly cheering them on.  We feel honored to have known him and his family.  ALthough physically not present today at the Memorial, we were with you and yours in Spirit.  May your memories sustain and assist you in finding inner peace.

Mr. Hall was one of my first bosses along with Mr. Drummond and Mr. Jeckering at White Villa. I was fresh out of high school when I started working there. Mr. Hall had the best sense of humor and always had something nice to say to everyone. He was truly one of those people you meet in life that left a lasting impression because of his kindness. I cherish my memories of working at White Villa.

To us, the F.B. in Harold's name will always stand for "Faithful Believer".  Harold believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, his precious wife, Oneita, his dear children and grandchildren, as well as his extended family and many friends he knew literally from all over the world ...and he was faithful to all of them.  He was a man of his word who loved his country and he had a terrific laugh that truly was one of a kind...just like he was. What a privilege it has been to call him our faithful friend for almost 40 years.  Oneita, we are so thankful for our visit with you and Harold in August and deeply appreciative of your and Harold's love and faithfulness to Mother all these many years since Ralph passed away and on her dementia journey that continues today.  Much love and many prayers to you and your family.

Claudia and family, How blessed you were to have such a loving man in your lives. Harold always belonged to God. He was only here on loan so all who knew him could love him and share his sorrows (so they were only half) and share his joys which made them double! October 14, 2014 was a glorious day to have his spirit raised and to go home to be with the Lord. In Him I bid you peace. ~ Bella

Claudia and family,  I am so sorry to hear of your loss, your family is in my prayers always! I wish I could be at the memorial service on Saturday but I have to work. I will be thinking of you Claudia.

Deepest sympathy to Oneita, Claudia and family. We laughed many times at a dinner table with Harold and family and loved every minute! As others have said, Jon is waiting for grandpaw and together they will watch over all of you every day.

Deep sympathy to Oneita, Steve, Claudia and families from a Marinole neighbor.  I remember the fun we had with basketball games at Fairmont and Florida vacations.  I had hoped Oneita, Harold and I could have shared another meal together before one of us left our earth.

 Oneita, Claudia , Steve  & all the family....I am so sorry to hear of  Harold's passing.  I am JoAnne Hill Caruso's sister Kathy  & I have such good memories of your family.  Harold & our Dad served together in the United States Coast Guard in New York City during World War II.    Our family summer vacations were all about driving to Dayton to visit  Harold & Oneita  & of course Claudia & Stevie . ( sorry Steve, you will always be  Stevie to me!)  I remember  great hospitality, as if Harold was the brother my dad never had,  &  good cooking  by Oneita .  My first memory of Harold is his great laugh !   He so enjoyed life & so loved his family.  
Take  comfort in the  memories  &  keep Harold's memory alive in the  younger generation.

Our world has lost a truly good man.  I know that Ralph and Jon were waiting to welcome him to Heaven.  May the Peace of the Lord be with Harold's family and friends.

I have known Harold since the day I was born in the Staten Island, NY naval hospital in 1945. He was my Dad's fellow phone operator in the Coast Guard and their friendship lasted through both of their lifetimes.  My brother Bill, sister Kathy and I have very fond memories of visiting Harold and Oneita in Dayton throughout our lives.  When I went to Miami University they were my family away from home on holidays and other times I could not get back to Canton.
