Greg was born in Silver City, New Mexico on September 28, 1980 and got his angel wings on October 12, 2022 after a sudden illness. His memory will be forever with mom and dad (Jim and Carol); brother Bill (Vikie); nephews Mike (Bekah) and John (Brittany), and great nieces and nephews Jaxon, Addison, Axel, Barron, Matthew, Joy and Phillip; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He enjoyed his years in scouting, earning the rank of Eagle, and got to go to the boundary waters canoeing. He was working at the Beavercreek Kroger and really enjoyed the great crew he worked with.
Greg was most at home in the Cathedral of the Great Outdoors. Images he captured on camera he freely shared with family and friends, giving inspiration and kindness and love. Greg enjoyed travel; rides in the countryside; family; his years at Aullwood Audubon taking classes and field trips. He was a master at picking the funniest greeting cards for family members, and was good at returning the teasing given by dad and big bother, who he always looked up to.
We take inspiration from his life and know our lives are much greater for having had THE GIFT THAT WAS GREG.
A celebration of life for Gregory will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
