I’m sorry that I just learned of Jerry’s death, and this may not be read by anyone. Jerry and I were friends from our days as hotel/ restaurant inspectors for AAA in the late 70’s.  We shared a love of travel, history, and geneaology.  I have missed chatting with him, and felt bad about his declining health. RIP my friend.

I  was saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I worked with Jerry for many years in CAC. He led the club on through many years and compiled historic information along with a list of a lot of the past members. My prayers are with and for Jerry and his family.  Cathy B.

Sorry to hear about Jerry, He was a really nice man.  I used to work with him at the base way back when.  

I would run into him periodically and we would catch up how things were going in our lives.  He was an interesting guy, glad I got to know him.

I loved Uncle Jerry and will miss him. We had a lot of fun over the years geeking out as only historians can about his latest genealogy or civil war research project. Our prayers to all who will miss him.

Jerry grabbed my hand and showed me where he wanted me to sit.  Then he said, "I want my arm around you."  Made me melt.  Bill and I are so grateful for that last visit and the memories it provided.   We will miss Jerry - the many trips that he would make to visit us, and I (Carol) will miss the long phone chats of the past.

Jerry will forever be in our hearts, and we share in your loss of a wonderful, caring, and loving  family member.

Jerry and Bill talked about Jerry's travels, his visits to Franklin TN for the Civil War re-enactments, and his researching in the archives in Washington DC.   Jerry lit up!   What a gift that moment was.

We were not sure Jerry knew us as we began this visit, but by its end, he was asking about our children.  It warmed our hearts and brought us smiles to treasure.

Our children hold a special place in their heart for Uncle Jerry, as they called him.    They remember him not wanting his different foods to touch on his plate...and only butter on his spaghetti noodles.  But in later years, he would eat the sauce!

A very special nephew in Mom and Dad's eyes.  He was a gentle soul and loved deeply.

Cousins Linda and Jerry enjoyed sharing jokes, eating Mexican food, and drinking margaritas together.  I'm sure they are sharing good times together again.

Jerry caught the garter.  He exclaimed, "If this is any indication of the next groom, the rest of you will have a long wait!"

We always enjoyed family celebrations with Jerry.
