FURREY, Gerald, 89, of Centerville, passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on July, 16, 2019.

Beloved husband of his devoted loving wife Deloris; loving father of Ken Furrey, Kathie Furrey, Karen Furrey and Kristi Hall; dear older brother of Joyce Connor, Nancy Hess and the late Judy Shroyer; and he was an amazing grandfather of 8, great-grand father of 15, and great-great grandfather.

Jerry graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1947 and from General Motors Institute in 1951. He retired from General Motors Inland division in 1990 after 43 years of dedication .

He was a devoted Christian, a man of generosity and an avid world-traveler, and felt privileged in the life he lived and with the family he loved. His family feels blessed to have been loved by such an amazing human.
