Gary and my husband were at Loma Linda together in residency.  Gary and his wife Cindy were friends with us and I had always missed them when we drifted apart due to circumstances that I am regretting so much today.  I decided to look him up as on the web and found this!  I am so sad for his family!   Cindy hugs to you  and your kids!  May our gracious GOD have given you the peace that surpasses all understanding, and you are in my heart today- I remember how he loved you and those kids!  He was so proud of them- and how he took the time to talk to my father about his heart problems-what a nice man he was- the world is a darker without this guy for sure ;/



I just heard about Dr Pauls passing.  I am so deeply saddened, he was a wonderful, caring Dr. I too was a patient of his at Schuster and followed him to Miami Valley.  I always asked about him and was so shocked to hear that he passed. he will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dr. Pauls was very well liked (and missed) at LLUMC. He was a great cardiologist and an even nicer person. My sympathies to his family....he had an "extended family" at LLUMC that is truly saddened to learn of his passing.

Gary was on duty at Kettering when I arrived having a heart attack. When I passed out, Dr. Pauls and his team revived me and saved my life. Somehow I feel had he not been there, I would have died.  He was a wonderful doctor, and I am saddened by his passing.

Gary was my cardiac and primary care doctor at Loma Linda.  He saved my life and my son's life (Dr. Michael Kuhn, Pediatric Cardiologist).  He and Mike were coworkers as well as friends. I thought so much of him, I followed him to Palm Springs (over 2 hour drive).  When he moved to Ohio, I was very sorry to see him go.  His passing was a shock and has saddened my heart.  He was a great physician and a great person.  I really miss him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I went to high school with Gary and his brother Mark was in my class. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, and ask that my condolences be shared with his family; with a special greeting to Mark from an old friend from Wisconsin Academy. Mark, I can't imagine the heartache of losing your brother Gary, take care!

Over the years at Loma Linda, Gary would come to my office and we would share stories of our kids (we both have Megans).  He was always so proud of them!  My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

I was saddened by the loss of Dr Pauls.  I had the pleasure of working with him in Kettering Hospital's CCU, and I enjoyed him very much.  He was a very good man, and quite a fine physician as well.  My condolences to the family on your loss.

Dr.Pauls was a fantastic physician to me and a better human being. This is a very sad time for all who cared for him.May God bless his family. Gary is with the Lord now this gives us all comfort.

You have lost a great man but our Lord has recieved a angel. Gary was my husband's Dr and when  he needed the strength to recover Gary was there for him the whole way. Gary devoted his life to his family and patients which had made him a great passionate person. May you find strength and comfort knowing he has touched so many lives but he has left a legacy of a name. May God speed with each and every one of you.

was so saddened by the passing of Dr Pauls. He was my doctor and I referred him to my best friend and she referred him to two of hers friends.
He was an excellant doctor and would spend whatever time you needed with him. The medical field will really miss him as will I and his other patients.

My prayers are with the Pauls family for the Lord's comfort during this time of grief.  My memories of Gary are of a dedicated, caring physician who treated all of our patients at Loma Linda UMC with the utmost respect.  He was a friend who made the workday a pleasure and who worked hard to make the world a better place.
