Rev. Gail Carl Moorman

MOORMAN, Rev. Gail Carl, age 98 of Kettering, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Hospice of Dayton Care Center. Gail was born on July 28, 1917 in a log cabin in Allen County, Ohio to the late Arby Milo and Leta Pearl McDonel Moorman. He attended Marion Rural School District, graduated from The Moody Bible Institute in 1943. He was an Ordained Minister and a Registered Evangelist in the Nazarene Church and attended Parkview Church of the Nazarene. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army as a Medic. He was preceded in death by his son, Gene Moorman and grandson, Carl W. Ball. He is survived by his loving wife of 78 years Clara Elizabeth Bowers Moorman who he married on June 17, 1937, son, Gary (Sheri) Moorman; daughters, Shirley (Tom) Parker and Pam (Tony) Coriell; grandchildren, Colette Moorman, Cheri Moses, Channon Houston, Stacy Mills, Richard, Jason, Justin, and Nathan Moorman; and seven great grandchildren. Family and friends may call from 10:11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, Ohio 45429, with the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Ron Justice officiating.
