Friedrich Kasischke lived a life full of happiness, full of friends and full of love for God and his extended family. He is survived by his son, Gerhard Kasischke and his two daughters, Gudrun Miller and Heidi Kasischke. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hildegard Kasischke in 2007.
He didn't do anything halfway. He was a great electronic engineer and boss at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 30 years. He enjoyed skiing most of his adult life, later bocoming an avid cyclist in his 60's, a windsurfer in his 70's and was a master bridge player in his 27 years of retirement. Most of all, he had been a great partner to our mother and loved her and his kids above all else. He served God and touched so many lives. The day before he passed away, he told us he had great success in his life, loved many people, was sorry for those he may have hurt along the way, and was ready to start a new adventure.
We feel grateful as his children, along with his extended family and all his friends to have known a man as loving and giving as our father. Our lives are richer for knowing you Vati. We will live the rest of our lives sustained by the love you gave us and will join you when our great adventure begins bring us together again.
